National testing Agency (NTA) has also announced the syllabus for JEE Main 2023 on jeemain.nta.nic.in.
In 2020, then Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ relaxed norms for admission at centrally-funded institutions amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic which resulted in closure of schools, colleges and disrupted almost all education-related activities across the country.
NTA has restored the 75% eligibility criterion for Engineering admission after qualifying in the JEE Mains entrance test – a practice which was followed in pre-COVID year.
For appearing in the JEE (Main) - 2023, there is no age limit for the candidates
Candidates are also requested to download and install the SANDES application as a secondary channel to receive time-to-time notifications from NTA
JEE Mains 2023 examination comprises two papers B.E/B.Tech and B.Arch and B.Planing.
JEE Main 2023 will be held twice. Session 1 is scheduled for January 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, and 31 (Reserved dates: February 1, 2, 3), and session 2 for April 6, 8, 10, 11, 12 (Reserved dates: April 13, 15).
Registration for Joint Entrance Examination 2023 begins on December 15, 2022, and will close on January 12, 2023.
